Plan Review in the 2024 International Plumbing Code, Part 1 - 4 CEUs
This two-part, inspector- and plans examiner-focused course is designed for code professionals who want to strengthen their ability to evaluate construction documents using the 2024 International Plumbing Code.
The first class will work through realistic plan-review scenarios involving general conditions, fixtures requirements, fixture quantities, and water heaters. We have developed custom plan exhibits that look like parts of a complete construction-document package, so participants can evaluate the information as they would in an actual plan review.
The focus is on recognizing what the plans demonstrate, identifying what is missing or inconsistent, and making clear, defensible review decisions. Participants will practice distinguishing if compliance is demonstrated, correction is required, and additional information is needed. The plans are the evidence. The goal is to determine whether compliance has been demonstrated.
