This 4-hour training course provides a review of Chapters 5 and 6 of the 2021 International Plumbing Code (IPC), focusing on the installation, design, protection, inspection, and maintenance requirements for water heaters and potable water supply and distribution systems. Participants will learn how to interpret and apply IPC provisions related to water heating equipment, piping materials, sizing methods, backflow prevention, valves, pressure regulation, water hammer control, and cross-connection protection.
